Mainstream Awarded Grants to Expand Service in Floyd & Benton Counties

On Thursday, November 21, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced the awarding of $6.3 million in grants to expand broadband service to Benton, Floyd, and Jackson Counties. The grants are part of the $100 million Next Level Broadband program administered by the state. These projects will bring service to over 5,000 unserved households and close to 1,000 unserved businesses. Mainstream Fiber is honored and excited to be the recipients of the awards to help service Benton & Floyd Counties with reliable broadband access. If the rain didn't keep you inside, you may have seen our booth over the weekend at the Floyd County 4-H Fair.  We were there, rain or shine (and fortunately it was mostly shine), all weekend, and had a blast!  We especially enjoyed meeting everyone from around the community and learning more about Floyd County. Many of you have been asking for reliable high speed internet service, and it has arrived! Our team is now constructing a 100% fiber network in Floyd County. Mainstream provides fiber to the home or business internet and phone service, with minimal speeds starting at 50 mbps and ranging up to 1 GB.
