This year, we had the opportunity to be a sponsor for Lanesville Heritage Weekend. This is an annual four-day event in Lanesville, Indiana. Our team spent this weekend interacting face-to-face with neighbors, giving the community a chance to get to know us. Mainstream provided the event with free WiFi for the entire weekend. Every smart device had access to connect to our WiFi for all four days. Those who attended Lanesville Heritage Weekend were able to share their moments online in real time. We are always about giving back to the community. Over the weekend, individuals who visited our booth …

Mainstream Fiber knows Indiana is no stranger to power outages. In fact, the Hoosier state has experiences 3,362 power outages across its 92 counties since the beginning of 2019. Notably, the counties yielding the highest outages so far are Marion and Noble. Most other Indiana counties experience far less outages in comparison. Regardless, outages tend to happen to most communities at least once a year, and usually without warning. We know the frustration of not being able to use fast-speed internet during an outage, and we always want to know what caused it. We put together a list of common …

If you were out and about last Saturday, May 25th you might have seen some of Mainstream Fiber’s team at our booth at Southern Indiana Uncorked. Despite the nasty weather earlier in the week, the day of the event was warm, clear, and beautiful. Our team members, Jessica and Nick, enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by whether it was to stop by and say hello, or to enter our drawing for a gift basket, provided by Red White and Blush. Speaking of drawings, we have a winner of the gift basket: congratulations to Marla Colette, and thank you to everyone …

The neighborhoods we are currently serving are listed at the bottom of this page. Mainstream Fiber is the only 100% fiber optic to the home internet service provider in …

West Washington provides students with high speed internet access
Fast, reliable fiber Internet changes the ways of learning for students At a Washington County Economic Growth Partnership meeting, Keith Nance met with Mainstream's executive team, where they were discussing Mainstream’s mission to provide reliable, high speed, fiber Internet to rural areas of Indiana. Nance, Superintendent of the West Washington School Corporation, has been with the corporation since January of 2011. He was excited to hear more about Mainstream’s work as he thought about how West Washington School was limited to a wireless Internet that had minimal reliability and slow speeds at only 100 mbps. He set up a meeting with MSFN …
